The Summer Season is here, and we hope all of you will enjoy the days of sun and warm weather. To keep our neighborhood a safe place, please ensure that we all can be safe on our roads and on our lake. It is important that we respect each other and protect our families and kids at all times. This means we have to remind ourselves and our guests and friends not to do anything that can put yourself or other at risk.
- Follow the official speed limits at all times and follow road signs throughout the neighborhood. No exceptions.
- Don’t be distracted while operating a vehicle
- Pay attention to your kids driving golf carts, bikes 4 Wheelers etc. in the neighborhood. Yes, we are a private community, however we cannot be careful enough. Follow the Michigan Laws and Regulations. For e.g. Golf Carts and other vehicles you can find them here http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?mcl-257-657a
- For boating rules and safety regulations please visit https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-350-79119_79144_79641—,00.html
- Ensure that there are no vehicles permanently parked or major obstructions are on any easement on our roads. Please ensure that at all times any type of emergency vehicle can pass through your streets. Please use your driveways for parking.
- Yield when you cross the bridge or any other intersection and follow the right of way rules. and Stop signs. Always expect the unexpected.
- Just be smart and careful while operating any vehicle. If it is not legal or safe outside the community, why would it be legal or safe here?
We all want to make sure that we do everything possible to keep our families and our community a safe place. Thank you!
